I bought it at the drugstore. It has a spicy, sweet, slightly earthy odor. Men's tonic. I use it as a cosmetic ingredient for perfume.

It's not an essential oil I use for its scent, which I find a bit heavy and earthy. But it works wonders in a pain relief ointment, along with other essential oils with analgesic and anti-inflammatory effects.

I'm an essential oil aficionado. I use ginger along with anise and fennel for digestive problems. After a gentle belly massage, cramps or flatulence disappear like magic. Wonderful!

The smell of this oil has nothing in common with ginger. It is unbearable. I cannot use it in aromatherapy, even combined with other essential oils. However, I use it as an ingredient in various cosmetic products.

It smells like herbal flavored root, a unique smell I would say because I can't compare it to any other essential oil. It imparts a rich earthiness with delicious aroma. I will definitely order it again.
