Bakuchiol – Alternativa natural y mejor tolerada al retinol
El bakuchiol es un compuesto aislado y purificado a partir de las semillas de la planta Psoralea corylifolia, utilizado como alternativa vegetal al retinol y adecuado para todo tipo de piel.
Aunque su estructura es diferente de la de los retinoides, los estudios muestran que el bakuchiol actúa sobre vías celulares similares en los fibroblastos, estimulando la síntesis de colágeno y acelerando la renovación epidérmica. Presenta un perfil de tolerancia cutánea superior y no suele provocar los efectos secundarios característicos de los retinoides sintéticos, como irritación, sequedad intensa o sensibilización de la piel.

Características técnicas
- Origen: De origen vegetal, obtenido mediante procesos de extracción y purificación de las semillas de Psoralea corylifolia.
- Aspecto: Líquido oleoso de color amarillo parduzco, con un olor característico discreto.
- Solubilidad: Soluble en aceites vegetales, mantecas fundidas, ésteres cosméticos y disolventes lipófilos.
- Función cosmética: Agente antiedad, antioxidante celular y protector cutáneo.
- Dosis de uso recomendada: 0,5 % - 1,0 %.
- Estabilidad del pH: Intervalo de pH recomendado entre 4,0 y 6,0.
Propiedades principales
- Acción reestructurante y antiedad: Favorece la síntesis de proteínas estructurales de la dermis, ayudando a disminuir la apariencia de las líneas finas y las arrugas.
- Antioxidante: Ayuda a proteger la piel frente a los daños provocados por la radiación UV y contribuye a reducir diversos signos del fotoenvejecimiento.
- Firmeza: Mejora la elasticidad y el tono de la piel, reduciendo el aspecto flácido de las pieles desvitalizadas.
- Corrector del tono: Contribuye a atenuar las manchas de hiperpigmentación y a reducir la aspereza y las rojeces de la piel.
- Control del sebo y mejora de la textura: Reduce la tendencia del sebo a oxidarse en los poros y ayuda a perfeccionar la textura de las pieles mixtas o grasas con tendencia a las imperfecciones.

Guía de formulación
- Procedimiento: Puede incorporarse a la fase oleosa, evitando un calentamiento prolongado por encima de 75 °C. También puede añadirse durante la fase final de las emulsiones, después de la emulsificación. En mezclas oleosas, puede incorporarse sin calentamiento.
- Estabilidad: En fórmulas con fase acuosa, se recomienda añadir una pequeña cantidad de quelante natural. También se aconseja incorporar un antioxidante lipófilo en cualquier tipo de formulación.

¿Es necesario utilizar este producto exclusivamente en la rutina de noche?
El bakuchiol es fotoestable y no provoca una sensibilización directa del estrato córneo frente a la radiación UV. Los productos que contienen bakuchiol pueden aplicarse tanto en la rutina de mañana como en la de noche.

It's ok, it burned my skin a bit but I think it's normal or probably an allergy but it's ok .
Good ingredient but I don't find it does the job of retinol though. DIFFICULT TO DOSE, IT HAS BEEN SPECIFIED IN THE COMMENTS, FOR THIS I GIVE 3 STARS.
I've been using arbutin and vitamin c cream for a few years now, but since using bakuchiol in the evening the effects are much more visible.

I have used it in a maximum dosage in a simple serum and you can really see the benefits of this natural ingredient. I will keep adding it to my wishlist.
I add it over serums with different forms of retinol commercially and it is wonderful. I also bought my mom, who has psoriasis, a retinol serum and added bakuchiol over it to make 1% total retinol and she was super thrilled. She's been struggling with psoriasis for a few years and this combination has brought her complexion back to life and is keeping the problem under control. A serum with retinol and bakuchiol is a must in her routine.
It's an active that can receive maximum marks from me. Easy to work with it, in 1% dosage it has a brightening effect on the complexion. The only drawback is that I have never (neither with the 2g nor the 20g bottles) had the full amount. I know it's vascous, that it can stick to the walls of the container, but even gently warmed and left to drain for a long time I couldn't get the 2g out of the bottle :)))))

I purchased the product on my last order. I put it in my night oily serum and the results started to show very quickly. Brighter,smoother and the rosacea completely disappeared. Vit A I couldn't use it,irritated the complexion. This product, even if more expensive, is worth all the money!!!

An excellent alternative to Retinol. I use it in an anti-wrinkle cream formula, I tested it on my own skin, would the effects are visible, of course, after a period of use.

Last time I ordered it on 10.05.2023, I was glad that I got it and with a small discount and I was looking forward to receiving it. But I was disappointed to find that it is totally different from the one previously ordered.Ugly greenish to blackish color, different smell.When I added it to the cream it changed the aisle of the product to something that looked ready altered.
