Polvo de Raíz de Rubia - Para reflejos rojizos, salmón o caoba en la coloración natural del cabello.
El Polvo de Raíz de Rubia se obtiene de la raíz molida de la planta Rubia tinctorum (rubia), tradicionalmente conocida como fuente de colorantes rojos naturales (alizarina, purpurina). Utilizado en la coloración natural del cabello, aporta tonos o reflejos rojizos, salmón o caoba, dependiendo del color inicial del cabello. También es adecuado para colorear jabones y otros productos cosméticos.
A diferencia de los polvos de henna, casi siempre se utiliza en una mezcla y no como colorante capilar por sí solo.

- Aspecto: Polvo marrón rojizo, olor característico
- Solubilidad: Miscible con agua (dispersable; se recomienda preparar un macerado/infusión acuosa para extraer los pigmentos).
- Calidad: Composición típica: glucósidos (alizarina-glucósido, purpurina-glucósido, rubiadina-glucósido), alizarina libre (responsable del color rojo), clorogenina, sales alcalinas, azúcares y sustancias pécticas.
- Dosis orientativa: 1-50%
Propiedades y beneficios

Aplicaciones
- Mascarillas capilares colorantes, mezclado con otros polvos para el cabello (henna neutra, henna rubia, henna roja).
- Agente colorante en cremas, geles, lociones y productos de higiene, utilizado en forma de macerado acuoso o infusión.
- Coloración de jabones - en forma de infusión o como polvo añadido al final de la saponificación (traza).
Guía de formulación
- Para el cabello: Combinar con un polvo de henna (henna neutra, rubia o roja) en una proporción general de 1:1. Utilizado solo, sin henna, el polvo de raíz de rubia presenta una adherencia muy débil a la fibra capilar y tiende a no permanecer sobre el cabello durante la aplicación. El resultado final varía considerablemente en función del color natural del cabello - se recomienda realizar una prueba en un mechón antes de la aplicación completa.
- Formar una pasta con agua tibia, siguiendo las instrucciones de preparación de la henna correspondiente.
- Preparación de una infusión: Añadir 100 ml de agua hirviendo a 10 g de polvo, mezclar y dejar infusionar durante un máximo de 15 minutos; filtrar, dejar enfriar y transferir el filtrado a un frasco limpio. Incorporar inmediatamente la infusión a la fórmula o conservarla con un 1% de Cosgard para su uso posterior.
- Para jabones: La infusión puede utilizarse como líquido para disolver la sosa cáustica; para obtener un color más intenso, el polvo puede añadirse directamente en la traza (puede conferir al jabón una textura ligeramente abrasiva; para obtener un resultado uniforme y suave, se recomienda infusionar/macerar y filtrar el polvo antes de incorporarlo).

I ordered this powder to color an oil. I liked it has a f fine texture which favored the extraction of the compounds.
I used this powder for coloring cold processed soap. It has an excellent intense color, the color of the soap comes out very beautiful.
I haven't used it yet. I will use it to color the soap. They sent me 2 pieces instead of one and I am sure I ordered 1. I will be very careful from here on out.
I have used it to color soap, it colors very nicely, in a pale red and gives a slightly abrasive texture. If you don't want the abrasive effect, infuse the oil with the powder, warm, and then strain.
I combined it with the reddish henna and am thrilled with the result. I didn't find that it changed the consistency of the resulting paste, but I will mention that I was giving it water without following any proportions. I added until I got the desired consistency. I left it overnight to macerate and had no problems applying it to my hair the next day, nor did it run. I'm going to keep experimenting with the blush/henna proportions until I get the desired shade.
I used this wonderful Roibă powder to make Geranium & Allantoin soap (according to the recipe on the Elemental website). I got a fantastic soap. Thank you Elemental!!!!
Soap only. This powder is a very excellent tool for coloring and healing hair, but only dark. Mine are light, so I use them only for making soap in a cold or hot way.
Although I combined 50% roiba with 30% red henna and 20% blond henna, it has NO stickiness. It was awful to apply, I smudged all around. I think the problem is also that the grind of it is not fine enough, it should be ground to 1/3 of the actual size. I only give 2 stars because it picks up the color pretty well, though.
From my testing, this is a water-soluble dye. Oil infusion does not work for soaps, better to mix directly into soap or into water.
On a natural dark brown hair, I combined with neutral henna and water, but after 4h no difference. The brown was more intense :))).which didn't bother me at all. But it was a hard 4 hours :)))))))
I bought the powdered roiba to dye my mom, who I've been dyeing for a few years with reddish henna from Elemental's Elemental offering, wanting to get a deeper shade of red. I used 40% roiba powder and 60% red henna. It was very hard to apply, it doesn't adhere to the hair at all. So we are going to go back to dyeing with 100% red henna which is very easy to apply and which we are very happy with.
I have used it without combining it with henna as recommended in its leaflet, for hair coloring, but it has the consistency of wet sand and simply doesn't sit on the head.Instead it is excellent for dyeing Easter eggs (ro, ruby red or gorgeous mahogany depending on the boiling time or natural eggshell hue.
FF pleased with this product, as I wrote in the henna reddish henna review I used together with this henna powder 2 sachets of henna . The only drawback is that it has a much stronger odor than the henna even cloying ( my sensation was that it smelled like manure) at first and it is not as smooth as the henna powder.
